Micky McGregor

Micky had no aspirations to be an actor until he was kicked out of an art lesson and made to sit in on a drama class; a punishment that re-directed a troubled youth to pursue a career in the arts.

Recently Micky has been working in film, TV and theatre. Recent credits include The Filleting Machine (Blowin’ A Hooley Theatre) Want (Blowin’ A Hooley Theatre), Ken Loach’s I, Daniel Blake (Sixteen Films), Switch (Funky Chevron Productions), Akita (Big River Films), Shark (Tri-Hard Films), Wolfblood (CBBC).

Micky is a co-founder of Blowin’ A Hooley Theatre, a company dedicated to making theatre affordable and accessible, taking authentic North East stories to non-theatre goers.
